Title:
Team Leader- Public Relations and Communications
Location : New Delhi
Employment Format: 1 year contract, potential for extension
Required Qualification: Post Graduate in Mass Communication or related qualification
Salary: As per qualification and experience |
Role Description :
• Developing Visibility Plan of the Organisation
• Networking with and among the DSSS including technical assistance
• Planning, developing and implementing communication assignments with external assistance where ever necessaryDocumenting & Publishing - experience and expertise in publication work is essential with skills in editing and proof reading
• Content generation and and writing skills |
Experience Required- Minimum 5 years
• Should have in-depth understanding on Communication and Public Relations.
• Should have a general understanding of the functioning of the Development Sector.
• Knowledge of Church and stand of the Church on specific issues.
• Knowledge of other NGO’s communication and Public Relation strategies.
• Should have knowledge of MS office, and overall knowledge of other computer programmes related to Audio-visual and printing productions.
• Should have strategic knowledge of the Audio-Visual and printing media and its role it enhancing visibility of the organization.
• Should possess general technical knowledge in print, electronic media and event management. |
Skills Required :
• Ability to develop strategies related to effective Communication and Public Relations.
• Ability to interact and create and maintain cordial relations with different existing and possible stakeholders to increase Caritas India’s visibility.
• Reporting and Documentation skills.
• Ability to effectively represent Caritas India in different forums and exude influence to Caritas India’s gain.
• Ability to constantly upgrade his/her knowledge and skills.
• Graduate or Diploma in Journalism & Mass Communication qualification with an experience of 2-3 years.
• Training and facilitation skills.
• Ability to learn and incorporate learning into operations. |
